Additionally, he provides investors key insight about potential and recent acquisitions across a wide slate of industries and crafts practical, easy-to-implement solutions that maximize ROI.
Tim’s insights and recommendations, be they on individual leaders or organizations, differ in that they are pragmatic, behavioral and action-oriented. Much more important to boards and CEOs than what a person or organization is like is what that person or organization can do!
As an executive coach, through a combination of empathy and a candid, matter-of-fact approach, he has generated observable and measurable results with leaders at all levels, with an emphasis on first-time CEOs. He fosters an environment of trust and frankness, where executives develop insight into themselves and experiment with new behaviors until they find the ones that optimize their impact with boards, teams and clients.
Prior to Lighthouse, Tim helped maximize ROI by advising private equity boards on their portfolio organizations and talent at Green Peak. Before that, he held several talent management leadership roles at Lehman Brothers, AXA Equitable and QBE. He previously served as a captain and psychologist in the U.S. Air Force.
Tim holds a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Kentucky with a concentration in assessment, and a B.S. in human development from Cornell University. He lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife Dawn.
